My client is one of the local area''s most recognisable retail brands with stores and offices all over the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity involving the development, implementation and execution of all sourcing, category management and procurement activity across the business.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the commercial relationship with suppliers
- Work with the Supply Chain team to develop and manage the strategic partnerships key to the business.
- Identifying and executing new opportunities and driving continuous improvement in the supply base.
- Sourcing, procuring, negotiating, contracting and ongoing category management of all supplier spend in Retail.
- Engage with colleagues within the broader procurement team to develop and support the embedding of best procurement practice.
- Working with Peers in the team to ensure the delivery of a safe and secure FandB supply chain.
- Responsible for development and successful execution of category strategies, and strategic relationships. Agreement and delivery of team targets including savings, inflation and rebates.
